VGC Week was the first fully virtual gamer event, bringing together participants such as players, streamers, developers, enthusiasts, and content creators. This event was created with the goal of highlighting Chilean indie video games and connecting digital communities through an unprecedented activity; offering a fully online and decentralized experience that allowed gaming fans from all over the country to unite around the world of video games.
The result? Connecting the gamer community with over 200 active participants and laying a strong foundation for future events like Festigame.
Challenge: organizing a gamer event with no digital infrastructure
Planning an event of this magnitude was a first in Chile. VGC Week brought together various industry stakeholders in a virtual setting for an entire week.
The biggest challenge? The complete lack of structure and absence of a system that would allow:
- registration and attendee organization
- management of two types of rooms: one for game showcases and another for live demo testing
- real-time data flow management and visualization
All of this under a stable operation.
Additionally, organizers lacked tools to facilitate dialogue and interaction between the different stakeholders and audiences during the event — making it hard to create a dynamic experience.
This is where Tesseract designed a novel solution that would become the key to the first VGC Week’s success.

The Tesseract Solution: Praxsuite + Discord integration, a smart path
With a three-person team, Tesseract managed to launch a platform in under two weeks, optimizing internal event flows and delivering a smooth experience for both creators and viewers.
This platform combined Tesseract’s own SaaS, Praxsuite, with the popular instant messaging service Discord. This powerful combo allowed:
- Creating an informative website and a registration landing page via a CMS hosted on Praxsuite
- Building and collecting registration forms and visualizing attendees in real time
- Integrating directly with Discord, the system used to stream and enable live communication during the event
- Hosting the full infrastructure for 12 months, during which Tesseract also provided technical support
